January 25th....30 days until we put on lycra (that's my wife saying grown men should not wear baseball pants!).  Guess that means I am still a kid at heart!

Very excited for this year and the staff that will be involved in the development of these fine young men.  We have a few returning all league players and a good mix of speed and power.  We will be young in experience but have a decent amount of pitching depth that we have not had the past few years.  It is great to see the boys coming in on their own for open gyms and working hard; wanting to get bigger, faster and better.

I have been telling the boys this years theme is "BELIEVE".  Believe in yourself, Believe in your teammates, Believe in your coach's, Believe in the program and Believe in commitment.  Baseball is a funny game and it never ceases to amaze me how things can change in the blink of an eye.  Keeping the belief of what we wish to accomplish and attain, knowing that no matter if we are down, we will persevere.
